Amid 15 acres, enjoy yummy berry delights like strawberry pizza, strawberry nachos, and even strawberry beer from 50+ food booths, as well as concerts on two stages, Strawberryland For Kids with free rides and attractions, 250+ Arts & Crafts booths, gooey contests, celebrity chef demonstrations, attractions like the new Berry Zipline, Navy Seals Underwater Dive Tank, and more.

Berry Best Dance Contest, presented by Coca-Cola:
Put your best foot forward and groove to the beat. Five teams of five have 30 minutes to learn a one-minute dance routine from an expert choreographer. The “dance-off” performance begins at 12:00pm daily at the Festival Stage with the crowd deciding which team wins $500. Listen to B95.1-FM to win a spot on a team, or sign up at the Community Connections booth by 10:30am to be on a reserve list. No age limit.
To enter, just send an email to [email protected] with your name/cell phone and return email, along with which day you plan to attend by no later than May 8th. Please note, check in begins at 10:30am on site Festival weekend at the Community Connections booth. Participants will be notified May 9.
Berry Best Dance Contest Rules:
• Entry eligible for Festival attendees.
• There will be one winning group of five participants per day (no multiple winners).
• Contestant can only enter one contest per weekend (Ex. a person can’t enter for the Berry
Best Dance Contest and the Berry Best Strawberry Hat Contest).
• Contestant will be randomly placed into a team of five.
• The style of dance will be contemporary/hip hop.
• Five teams of five will be selected to compete each day.
• An individual may win a spot on a team by listening to KBBY (95.1-FM) prior to the
festival (wins tickets and a spot on a team of five participants)
• KBBY contest winning participants must report to the Community Connections booth at
the Festival one and a half hours prior to show time (10:30am), the day of participation.
The same contestant cannot compete both days.
• Festival patrons may also sign up to be on the reserve list at the Community Connections
booth by 10:30am. Should a KBBY contest participant be unable to join in the dance
contest or be late for check in, the reserve participant may be entitled to participate in
his/her place.
• When an individual registers on site and is placed on the reserve list, he/she is not
guaranteed to become a contestant.
• Reserve list contestants will be chosen on a first come first serve basis as needed.
• Reserve contestants will be notified by 11:00am if they will be participating.
• Five teams of five have 30 minutes to learn a one-minute dance routine from an expert
choreographer.
• Contestant(s) must meet their teammates at the Festival Stage at 11:15am to begin
learning the dance routine.
• The team must be ready to perform their dance routine at 12:00pm on the Festival Stage.
• The winning team will be awarded a $500 cash prize. The $500 cash prize will be divided
evenly between each of the team members, $100 each.
• By entering the contest, all participants consent to the commercial use of their name,
picture, and likeness for advertising and publicity/promotional purposes without further
compensation.
