Katy Perry will unveil her latest video, for her new single "Unconditionally," Tuesday, November 19 on MTV at 7:53 p.m. ET.
The premiere is part of a special called MTV First: Katy Perry "Unconditionally," which will also feature the singer sitting down for an exclusive 30-minute interview that you'll be able to watch on MTV.com. The video and interview will be available to stream online at KatyPerry.MTV.tv as well.
Speaking to MTV about the clip, Katy says she wanted to focus on "beauty and glamour and gorgeous shots," but added that there's one scene where she's struck by a car. Why include such a gruesome image? "It's a metaphor to talk about how, when love finds you, it's kinda like being hit by a car," she explained.
The trailer for the video is out now, and shows soldiers and beautiful women dancing at a ball, snow falling, an owl flying, fire, a mother holding a baby, and Katy singing, wearing big cross earrings and a gold and red dress.
