As pomised, Katy Perry on Monday announced the first dates of what's she's calling her Prismatic world tour, with U.K. residents the lucky folks to see her first.  Katy will play eleven dates there, beginning May 7, 2014 with a show in Belfast, Ireland, through Friday, May 30, when she'll play the third of three dates at London's O2 Arena.  Tickets for all the dates go on sale this Friday via Ticketmaster.

Icona Pop will be opening for Katy on the U.K. dates.  Katy herself first tweeted the Prismatic dates early Monday morning, wrapping it up with the tweet, "DON'T WORRY – more GLOBAL tour dates coming soon! I can't wait to get closer to ALL of you than ever before! #THEPRISMATICWORLDTOUR."
