We've heard of an alligator purse, but this is ridiculous: magician David Blaine literally pulls a baby gator out of Katy Perry's purse in the new ABC special David Blaine: Real or Magic, airing tonight at 9:30 p.m.

Katy is just one of the many big-name stars in the special, which features Blaine traveling around the world demonstrating his amazing feats for people on the street, and for celebrities in their homes.  In Katy's case, he's on a rooftop in New York City with her.  First, he amazes her with a card trick in which he asks her to think of a card and tell him what it is.  When she cuts the deck, her card magically appears.  "Do people ever cry sometimes 'cause it's so strange?" she asks.

Next, Blaine asks Katy to drink from a glass, and to confirm that it's an actual glass.  When she confirms that it is, he starts biting pieces off of it, chewing them and swallowing them before her eyes.  "He's eating my glass!" she laughs.  "The boyfriend I've always wanted!"  She stops him by saying, "OK, let's not do that anymore, I'm scared now."

Blaine then asks Katy if she wants to see him make a rabbit appear out of her purse. "Preferably rabbit, bunny, Shetland pony," she laughs.  Next thing you know, he takes her empty purse, which isn't that big, and pulls out a live baby alligator, which is about a foot and a half long. "That wasn't in my purse. Oh my God!" screams Katy.

Besides Katy, the special also features Blaine performing magic for Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul,Harrison Ford, Ricky Gervais, Robert DeNiro, Jamie Foxx, Will Smith, Kanye West and Olivia Wilde. Check it out tonight on ABC.
