Lady Gaga will fulfill what she claims has been a childhood dream this weekend, when she hosts Saturday Night Live.  While she's appeared on the show twice before, Gaga claims that she's envisioned hosting since she before she started kindergarten. 

As she tells Access Hollywood, "I’ve been waiting for this moment my whole life. I’ve been rehearsing mySNL hosting performance since I was four, so I’m OK.”

Gaga no doubt has something special planned for her musical performances during the show, but what kind of sketches should we expect? Well, she tells Access Hollywood that nothing is off limits.  “I actually told them to push it. I told them to have a good time and not be worried about me being offended or not liking anything. So they really went for it,” she says.

Of course, it's not like SNL has to deal with a lack of acting ability on the part of the singer.  Gaga's resume features a few pre-fame onscreen credits, including a part in an episode of The Sopranos.  Therecent promos she filmed with cast member Kenan Thompson show that she's got comic timing, and let's not forget that she's already appeared in several SNL sketches in the past.

Gaga's first appearance on SNL came in 2009; in that episode, she was featured in an installment of the dance-related faux talk show "Deep House Dish" with Madonna, and the two staged a mock cat fight.  This, of course, was several years before relations between the two turned frosty in real life.

In 2011, Gaga performed on the show again and appeared in the instantly-memorable digital short "3-Way" with Justin Timberlake and Adam Sandler.  She also played herself in a game show sketch called "What's That Name," where she remembered every single detail about her fans, while Justin was unable to even recall the name of his 'N SYNC bandmate, Chris Kirkpatrick.
