Britney Spears' new album Britney Jean includes at least one song inspired by her breakup with her former fiance, but he appears to be long forgotten, since she can't stop gushing about her new man.

Appearing on Ellen DeGeneres' show on Tuesday, Britney said of her boyfriend David Lucado, "He's very passionate and funny and sexy. I like him. I just, I love him!"  She revealed that she and David were introduced by friends and have been together eight months. "I think it was instant," Britney said of how long it took her to realize there was something between them.

But there's sometimes trouble in paradise.  Britney also told Ellen that just before she came on the show, she and David were in a little "tiff." When Ellen demanded to know what the issue was, Britney said, laughing, "It's his fault, of course!  He forgot to call me back for a really long time."

When Ellen asked just how long, she sheepishly revealed, "Like, six hours," as the audience laughed.  "But we're fine now!  We're totally fine!" said Britney, as Ellen pretended she was going to call him and tell him off.

Britney also spoke briefly about the new album, as well as her upcoming residency in Vegas. "I just feel like it's ideal. I've done four tours in the past five years and I've been traveling all around the world, and I think it's ideal to have one place to go to, and it's more family-oriented," she explained.
