(NOTE LANGUAGE) Pink's daughter Willow is two and a half now, and the singer says she can't wait to expand her family — either by adoption, or by having more children, or both.
Speaking to Billboard for their Women of the Year issue, Pink says that because her own brother is "everything" to her, "I want [Willow] to have family beyond her Papa and me…I mostly want another one for her to have a lifelong friend."
She goes on to explain that she has a stepbrother and stepsister, but they're much older than her, and her husband Carey was an only child for 12 years until his brother came along, but sadly, he died a few yeas ago. "Family is the most important thing…I love it," she tells Billboard. "It's like, holidays, the chaos, the…fighting, the mom always having a kid around. For sure. I want to adopt, I want to have more. Just, yes!"
Pink also talks to the magazine about her amazingly successful year, which will be capped off on Tuesday when she's honored as Billboard's Woman of the Year at a gala event in New York City. Not only is her album a best-seller, but she had the biggest hit of her career this year with "Just Give Me a Reason."
Asked about being described by Ryan Tedder recently as someone who's "quietly become the biggest pop star in the world," Pink laughs and says, "[It's] because I keep my head to the dirt and I just f**king pound the pavement…I'm not after having a radio hit. I'm after making people cry in concert."
